SHARON E. VOLPE is an illustrator  and graphic designer, who provides services in art direction, illustration and design services to small companies.  She has exhibited her work at galleries and shows, as well. 

Volpe’s techniques comprise digital photography, Ink Wash, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Corel Painter, freehand sketching, among other traditional media.  

It is the combination of formal training, professional experience, and her interest in the performing arts that inspires her work.  Artists such as Erte, Henri de Toulouse Lautrec, John Held Jr., Alex Steinweiss, David Stone Martin, Robert Downton have been a major influence on her work.

Ms. Volpe holds an M.A. in Illustration from the Fashion Institute of Technology and a B.F.A. in Graphic Design from the School of Visual Arts, both in New York City.  She was graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in Public Affairs and Political Science.  Ms. Volpe is based in New York City, where she is also a certified teacher, instructing high school students at the Legacy School for Integrated Studies, in studio and computer art as well as other subjects.
